Iara, the brazilian mermaid
Project of a book about the legend of Iara, belonging to Brazilian folklore. With excerpts from Apolonildo Britto's explanatory text, the graphic design and illustrations were entirely created and based on the woodcut technique, which refers directly to Brazilian culture.
